For the purposes of this list, "native" refers to autochthonous peoples of the North Americas (the U.S., Canada, and Mexico) and neighbouring islands, including Hawaii. Discussions in this list are open to any aspect of native literature. The list welcomes book reviews, articles about poetry, fiction, and criticism; information about publications, talks, conferences; and general discussion about native literature.

Provides information on a range of topics. The literature category features stories, poetry, book reviews, etc. Contains some Canadian content as well as a list of Canadian native periodicals, their subscription addresses, etc.
