The Charlotte Austin Review Ltd. is a website on the Internet, officially launched on February 1/2000. It is primarily an extensive book review site, with reviews presented in a number of categories.

All reviewers are fully profiled and make up a growing team of
22 reviewers and editors today. The site also publishes interviews with authors and publishers, selected short fiction from emerging writers, and Reflections, thoughts on the writing life from published authors.

We welcome your contributions, sent as email or as MS Word attachment only. Please note that there is no payment offered at this time for submissions. In selecting material for publication, we look for conciseness and effective use of language. Contributions are acknowledged with a byline, bio and photo as applicable.

Book Reviews – All reviews are written by a team of regular reviewers. Because the categories we review are expanding at a faster than anticipated pace, you are invited to consult the front page menu option for categories we review. To be considered as a possible reviewer, e-mail the editor with a sample of your work.

Columns - All columns are written by regular columnists and are published to answer a variety of questions from readers. To suggest a column, email the editor with a precise proposal and a plan for an on-going column.

Features – Features include interviews or conversations with authors and publishers, and what editors and publishers look for.

Reflections – Thoughts and true inspirational stories on the writing life from published authors.

Short Fiction – Length 1,500 - 6,000 words.
Preferred: 2,500 words. No children’s stories, easy readers, picture books and essays. We look for well-crafted, traditional short stories with depth and meaning.

The Charlotte Austin Review can accept submissions year round. The site’s content is updated regularly with new material.
