This anthology is from the Los Angeles Chapter of Sisters in Crime.
A Deadly Dozen: Tales of Murder from Los Angeles is the third in a series of great mystery/crime stories. It features twelve short stories that will keep you wanting more.

Sandwiched in between Kris Neri’s thought provoking and chilling
Sentence Imposed and Dorothy Rellas’ suspenseful Midnight - are ten other mind numbing and disturbing stories by Cory Newman, Nathan Walpow, Ekaterine Nikas, Gay Toltl Kinman, Jamie Wallace, Phil Mann, Kate Thornton, Lisa Seidman, Gayle McGary, and Joan Myers.

Each story is a terrifying look into the human psyche. Cory Newman’s
Wifely Duties; Kate Thornton’s Ai Witness; Ekaterine Nikas’ Fatal Tears; and Joan Myers’ wonderful Copycat, offer different ways to rid yourself of 'household pests'.

Nathan Walpow’s
Push Comes to Shove and Gay Toltl Kinman’s Miss Parker & the Cutter-Sanborn Tables show us ways to rid ourselves of job and school pressures – permanently.

Phil Mann’s
Touch of a Vanish’d Hand presents the classic "locked room" mystery, while Gayle McGary gives us a younger than usual detective who finds that things are not always what they seem.

Jamie Wallace’s
Driven to Kill and Lisa Seidman’s Over My Shoulder are stories with deadly and surprising twists.

This anthology will not disappoint any mystery fan. I recommend it to anyone who loves a great short story that packs a punch. Well done, Sisters. I’ll be waiting for your next effort.
