Special Characteristics: Damsel bugs are slender bugs with raptorial front femora. The beak is narrow and curved. Most Nabidae are pale brown with well-developed wings but one species in our area is wingless and shining black.

Comments: Damsel bugs are predaceous on various insects, including aphids and caterpillars.
