The Cumberland
Heritage Village Museum is a re-creation of a village of the Lower Ottawa Valley during
the 1900s. Step inside this site to discover how industrialization, mechanization, and the
Great Depression affected the people of the Cumberland area. The way of life for Canadians
changed greatly during this time. Built in 1976, the museum now contains 27 buildings
including a one-room school house, a train station, a church, a forge and homes. Come on
in and explore life in the 1930s. |
