The purpose of this program is to promote more Canadian content on the Internet; included on this Home Page is a link to The Digital Collections Web Site. This site was created to inform people about the history of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada and the surrounding region. It contains a detailed historical Timeline of the area documented, where possible, with photographs. It also contains information about Heritage Park, operated by The Fort McMurray Historical Society; its location, hours of operation and attractions.
