Obituary of Willy John              Chronicle/Journal - Sunday July 2, 1995  
 

JOHN - Mr. Charles William John 74 years of Lake Helen Reserve Ontario, passes away Thursday June 29, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital Thunder Bay, Ontario.

A veteran of WWII, Mr. John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #32 Nipigon and the President of the Native Veterans Association of Northwestern Ontario.

Predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary-Jane John, by one sister Florence Angus; he is survived by his wife Frances by three sons Dennis of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; Alwyn (& wife Marge) of Thunder Bay Ontario, and Charles Jr. (& wife Geraldine) of Lake Helen Ontario, by one daughter (& husband Charles) Thompson of Lake Helen Ontario, by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and by one brother Albert (& wife Martha) John of Ottawa, Ontario. Resting at the residence of his daughter Florence Mrs. Charles Thompson where friends may call after 6 P.M. on Saturday July 1. Funeral services will be Monday July 3, 1995 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of The Annunciation Nipigon with Father A. Fujarczuk officiating Interment in Lake Helen Reserve - St. Sylvester's Church Cemetery Prayers will be offered at the residence on Sunday, July 2, at 7:00 P.M.
