The Ocnophil's Kitchen, 1996

Gail Bourgeois is a multi-media artist who uses most notably drawing in her installation works. She graduated from Concordia University with a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and she has been teaching drawing and related techniques for the past five years. She has been exhibiting her works since 1985 principally in Canada and England. She has produced original art works for publications and written reviews for many Canadian art magazines. Some exhibtions include: (Ce) corps (in)vulnerable, Galerie La Centrale, Montreal (1996); The Ocnophil's Kitchen, for Les Occupantes with the Venus Fly Trap Collective, Montreal (1996); and, Autoportait à Toronto, for Significant Details, Glendon Gallery, Toronto (1992).
