Biography:
vera m wabegijig is Anishnawbe:kwe from Ontario and a member of the Bear
Clan. vera's poems have been published previously in: Gatherings
VII, VIII; Native Women in the Arts; and Aboriginal Youth Today. Currently
she is at the University of Victoria, working on a B.F.A. in Creative
Writing and is also working on her first book of poetry. She lives in
harmony with her beautiful daughter Storm.
