Janet Rogers, a self-taught multimedia artist from the Six Nations territory in southern Ontario, has curated and coordinated group exhibitions in Toronto and Victoria, including First Ladies (at the A Space Gallery in Toronto, Ontario) and the Warrior Women exhibitions in British Columbia (as well as being a contributing artist). Employed as a First Nations Teaching Assistant on Vancouver Island, her vibrant prints and paintings reflect her Native perspective and particular worldview of spirituality and the cosmos.
