Prince Edward Island's three main industries were not always farming, fishing and
tourism. In fact they were very different in the past. The Shipbuilding industry
brought wealth and power to many people with the beginning of the province. Later came
the fox-farming craze, and huge houses were built to celebrate it. The first
fisherman's co-op was created here in West Prince. The founders of the industry are
characters to behold. All have stories to tell.
