All 1809 respondents, 509 Rogers customers, 545 Bell/Aliant customers, 332 Videotron customers, 443 Telus customers and 1036 customers of all other providers answered as follows:

- Rebate/discount offers where terms differ from the original information provided by the providers, 32% Total, 35% Rogers, 32% Videotron, 34% Bell/Aliant, 32% Telus, 30% all other providers
- Salespeople providing details of telecommunications products or services which end up being false, 31% Total, 37% Rogers, 28% Videotron, 33% Bell/Aliant, 32% Telus, 29% all other providers
- Rebate/discount offers where terms are not disclosed before purchase, 28% Total, 35% Rogers, 22% Videotron, 31% Bell/Aliant, 28% Telus, 26% all other providers
The second table titled ‘Support for the following actions being taken’ shows the proportion who said they strongly or somewhat support each potential action presented.
