This concept is a full page advertisement that shows a bar graph depicting the fact that the number of working-age Canadians for every senior is decreasing. The text says, “Changes to Old Age Security. The Government of Canada is raising the age of eligibility for Old Age Security (OAS) and Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) from 65-67. If you are 54 and older on March 31, 2012, you will not be affected. If you are younger than 54 on April 1, 2012, your age of eligibility for OAS/GIS will gradually change between 2023 and 2029. Starting in July 2013, Canadians eligible for the OAS will have the flexibility to delat receiving it in exchange for a higher monthly amount at a later date”.
