Melissa Lloy Luhtanen
Melissa is the human rights educator at the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre. She designs curriculum and teaches human rights education seminars for students and teachers. Melissa also performs contract human rights investigations. She is involved in a number of human rights community groups. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary.
Linda Mae McKay-Panos
Linda, the Executive Director of the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre, taught secondary school before obtaining a law degree. She articled at the Alberta Court of Appeal and joined the ACLRC in 1992. She received her Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Calgary.
Brian Stanley Seaman
Brian is a research associate at the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Journalism and a French immersion certificate before obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick. Brian has practised in human rights law and performed research into the interplay between
law and policy.
