NORTH AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL

by
JERRY PRINDLE
_______________________________________________
In
the year 2000, after the loss of a close friend, Jerry Prindle
decided to open up D'UN
COUVER A L'AUTRE (A HELPING HAND), a Montreal- based organization
that provides full-time and part-time work and community to schizophrenics.
Having to look after both the business end and psychological challenges,
Jerry was left with practically no time off, until this year,
when he was finally able to realize a life-long dream of hitting
the road. In a small van, Jerry drove from Montreal to the Yukon
and then all the way down the West Coast to Los Angeles and back:
a total of 20,000 kilometers. His madly inspired photo essay is
a record of his journey; it blurs the line between amateur and
professional photography.
