Ashram: Adventures on a Yoga Farm is Jnana Hodson's novel about an unorthodox woman swami during the original flowering of yoga in America. Focusing on the activities and aspirations of eight of her students, the story takes place during a single spring day on their mountain boot camp. They may argue whether their guru's a holy genius or just a holy terror, but there's no question about her being wholly unpredictable as they gain lessons they'd find nowhere else.

About the author: Jnana participated in the emerging yoga scene, both practicing and teaching. Since then, his poems and ficition have appeared widely in small press journals and ezines around the world. He currently lives in New Hampshire, where he is active in his local Friends Meeting (Quaker).
