Blank Page
You’re nothing more to me
Than mere words on paper,
Hardly a living, breathing, vibrant man,
Just a flurry of incoherent messages on a
Page, rife with spelling errors,
Inconsistencies, and
Poor grammar
That is why I feel
No remorse
At ripping you into the tiniest shreds imaginable
And scattering you to the wind.
Personal Flood
I’ve gone and done it:
Drowned in the espresso of my eyes,
Been carried away by the flow of my own voice,
I’ve lost myself in my own embrace.
