Just Pondering

Introduction: Just Pondering is designed to link with pond owners and wannabe pond owners who enjoy the elements of nature and want to combine earth, air, water, living plant and animal species within the natural beauty of their garden.

I started from humble beginnings by developing, designing and constructing my first 2000 gallon pond in my backyard garden. From these beginnings I have embarked on a journey to learn more and more about this process of creating esthetic environments within urban settings. In this process I want to communicate the knowledge, experience and emotional love for this learning project.

In the future I will be adding feature articles and ideas and I am looking for individuals with similar interests to contribute and share their ideas. I will be publishing a new article based on my experiences constructing a 21 foot by 26 foot pond with a waterfall and a stream 37 feet long emptying into a 7 foot by 8 foot pond. The process was completed by hand over a number of mnths. The results you can see in the opening photo.
