Would You Like To Have More Trust In Your Life? Follow These Easy
Steps:
1. Forgive The People That Have Misused Your Trust:
This is not an easy thing to do. An, I'm not telling you to forgive the people who have done you real harm. But what about the people that didn't mean to hurt you? The ones that have been asking for your forgiveness for a long time and are still waiting for you to say "yes". Holding onto past hurts only keeps you from trusting that things will work out better in the future.
2. Expect That People Will Surprise You:
Have people not come through for your first before you are disappointed. They might surprise you. It beats worrying about things that might never happen. And, you will have closer and more intimate relationships this way.
3. Give Yourself An Attitude Adjustment:
Trust is putting a positive spin on how you look at things. Attitude is everything. Life happens and you respond. The great thing is you get to choose how you react.
4. Welcome New Things:
Trust is welcoming new things into life. You never know what is behind the door unless you open it.
5. Share Yourself With Others:
Trust is revealing more of ourselves to others so others can reveal more of themselves so they can let us in. Being vulnerable with people is hard in the beginning, but well worth the risks. Remember, when you keep out the bad in life, you also keep out the good.
6. Trust Yourself:
Trust says "I have faith in myself." When you believe that you can handle anything that comes your way, then you will.
7. Believe That It Will Work Out:
Trust is believing that it will work out before you see the evidence that it will. Sometimes you have to have faith first before you can see the rewards. This might involve doing things at first that you don't want to, or make you uncomfortable. But trust that you are on the right path, and things will work out in the end. Trust is about being afraid and moving forward anyway. It's about not knowing how it will turn out, and going for it nevertheless. So, how about bringing some more trust into your life today? You will be surprised as to how much power and freedom it brings. And, isn't this a much better way to live?
