The Giving of Gifts
The gifts I chose with my heart
You lost or gave away.
It was the transient and the temporary
That entertained you.
I gave you my heart.
Then I gave you me.
You were exceedingly entertained.
Now you have found your need for forever
I have no gifts left to give.
