BOTTLES
Your transformative idea is less than its promise and more
Than its deduction.
You swim without fins to show the lake that you don’t need aids.
At the end of completion
There is the return of what you were trying
To do by going beyond.
Your amputated arms slide through the water like bottles.
If you take a drink from your soda you will find that the carbonation
Is antagonistic towards the flat water.
You can’t get a nickel refund on sadness and grocery stores
Collect rather than pay.
I bring a thousand bottles in a carton to pretend that I like to work.
