NUMBERS
So the system is an escape from the world.
Math is a grid to gridlock freedom in a vise.
Don’t give me any of those numbers.
I do not like games,
Not even chess or Parchesi.
I am looking for ways to approach the world
Rather than to escape it.
I’d rather be dead than an equation.
I am not so afraid of you that I hide behind numbers.
