Time the Present Time

you are indefinitely vaster
      than all the oceans converging together
        where i can never hope to hold
            even a single drop in my hand
        except happening to have a touch
            of the tail tip of a unknown fish
                    swimming swiftly by

Global Warning

it is not so much
        carbon dioxide from metal pipes
  as more and more
     fret, frenzy, and friction
          harbored in the human heart
          spouting out against light
that make the whole world
          dangerously warmer
