The Department of Greek and Roman Studies wishes to make

a sessional appointment from September 1998 to April 1999

to cover Introductory Ancient Greek, Introductory Latin,

and the following courses in translation: Greek and Roman

Mythology; Greek and Roman Tragedy.  The salary will depend

on qualifications and teaching experience.



Please send a letter of application and curriculum vitae

listing your teaching experience to the Acting Chair, if possible by

15 June 1998.  In addition, two referees familiar with your

teaching should be asked to send confidential letters to the

Acting Chair as soon as possible.  Dr. Shrimpton can also be

contacted at the C.A.C. meeting in Ottawa.
