WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY -- THE DEPARTMENT OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND CLASSICAL

STUDIES invites applications for a tenure-track position in Classical

Studies (subject to budgetary approval) at the Assistant Professor level.

Duties will include undergraduate teaching in Greek and Latin, Greek

literature including drama in translation, and mythology. Other teaching

areas may include women in the ancient world, Classical civilization, and

history. The successful candidate will have a PhD, an established program

of research specializing in Classical Greek language and literature, and

evidence of excellence in teaching. Appointment effective July 1, 1999.
