The Department of Anthropology and Classical Studies at the University of Waterloo is seeking
an instructor for CLAS 202, Ancient Roman Society, in the spring term of 2000 (a regular length
term that begins May 1). The stipend is $4200. Applications (vita and names of referees) may be

Qualifications: Ph.D.(or near completion) in Classics; teaching experience in a relevant course
