Archaeological Fieldwork Opportunity in Greece

There are still a few open spots for the second season of the Iklaina Archaeological Project, an interdisciplinary project investigating a Mycenaean district capital in the kingdom of Pylos. It includes seminars and classes, archaeological fieldwork, and visits with lectures to the most important sites and museums of the Peloponnese. It is offered as a 6 cr.h. course through the Department of Classics of the University of Manitoba.

Cost: $995 (includes accommodation, meals, visits to sites and museums) + $660 (tuition fees).
Dates: May 31-June 13.
Deadline for registration: May 5, 2000 (after that date students will be accepted only if space permits)
