The Department of Classics invites
applications for a one-year term sabbatical replacement, subject to
budgetary approval. The appointment will commence on July 1, 2004 and
will be at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor. Applicants
should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline (or be near completion) and
have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching. Duties will
include teaching courses on various aspects of classical civilization,
as well as language instruction in Greek and/or Latin. Applications
should include a curriculum vitae, teaching dossier, and three letters
