The Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies, Wilfrid Laurier
University, invites applications for an instructor to teach the following
course (subject to budgetary approval):
Winter term: 3 January - 27 April, 2006. Classroom hours: 36
CL102C Roman Civilization, Wednesday 7:00-9:50pm. Class limit: 80. Credit
0.5. This course is a general introduction to the people of Rome and the
world they created: law, architecture, education, literature, daily life
and politics.
Requirements: PhD preferable
Applications to teach the course shall be in writing, including a current
curriculum vitae, and any other materials the applicants wish to submit.
External applicants may be asked to supply letters of reference, or to
give permission for the Part-time Appointments Committee to contact
referees by telephone or e-mail. Applications should be forwarded to Dr.
