Student papers are now being solicited for the 2013 Undergraduate Essay Competition at both the Junior and Senior levels, with cash prizes of $150, $100 and $50. The deadline is August 31st. The Department of Modern Languages and Classics is seeking instructors to teach CLAS 2201.1 - Mythology of Greece and Rome I, and CLAS 3310.1 - Classical Literature (Epic) which will be offered in the 2013-2014 academic year.
Fall: CLAS 2201.1 - The Mythology of Greece and Rome I: Tuesday/Thursday 2:30–3:45
CLAS 3310.1/Engl 3310.1 - Classical Literature (Epic): Monday/Wednesday 11:30–12:45
We require that candidates have a master's degree in Classics or a related area and successful university teaching experience.
Applications are invited in the first instance from part-time faculty colleagues who are on the Department's precedence list. The closing date is July 22nd 2013.
