High frequency of neoplasia in patients with autoantibodies to centromere protein CENP-F

Fig. 2: Schematic representation of the intact CENP-F cDNA reported by Liao and associates6 and the cDNAs used to generate recombinant proteins. The peptides derived from the cDNA clones represent base pairs 2192-3317 (p-F1), 5561-7126 (p-F2), 5892-6883 (p-F3) and 7538-10116 (p-F4). Sera from 19 patients with neoplasms and 11 patients with other diseases were tested for reactivity to p-F1. Sera from 21 patients with neoplasms and 12 patients with other diseases were tested for reactivity to p-F2, p-F3 and p-F4.
