High frequency of neoplasia in patients with autoantibodies to centromere protein CENP-F

Fig. 4: Immunoprecipitation of [35S]-methionine labelled recombinant protein. The recombinant protein obtained from the coupled in vitro transcription and translation of the p-F4 cDNA migrated at approximately ~ 72 kDa in a 4% to 20% gradient gel SDS-PAGE (NO IP) and was immunoprecipitated by sera from some CENP-F-positive patients but not others. The lanes are numbered to correspond to the same sera identified in Fig. 3. Normal human serum (NHS) and rabbit serum 911 directed against the p-F2A (CAC) did not immunoprecipitate the p-F4 recombinant protein. Molecular mass markers are shown on the left.
