Abstract
A group of doctors concerned about the environment and health has applied for letters patent and charitable status registration for a new organization, the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment. The goal of the new group, says founder Dr. Tee Guidotti (tee.guidotti@ualberta.ca), is to create a network for physicians who are interested in the relationship between health and the environment, and to educate and support physicians who take an active interest in environmental issues in their communities.

Un groupe de médecins qui s'intéressent à l'environnement et à la santé ont demandé des lettres patentes et l'enregistrement comme organisme de bienfaisance pour une nouvelle organisation, la Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (Association canadienne des médecins pour l'environnement). Son fondateur, le Dr Tee Guidotti (tee.guidotti@ualberta.ca), affirme que le nouveau groupe a pour but de créer un réseau pour les médecins qui s'intéressent aux liens entre la santé et l'environnement et d'éduquer et d'appuyer les médecins qui s'intéressent activement au questions environnementales dans leur communauté.
