A scientific symposium last fall at the University of Manitoba honoured Dr. Keith Moore, professor emeritus, Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Toronto. Moore, an embryologist who authored several medical textbooks, was professor and head of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Manitoba from 1965 to 1976. He is a former president of the Canadian Association of Anatomists and the American Association of Clinical Anatomists. Moore was also honoured in 1995 when he received the Canadian Association of Anatomists' J.C.B. Grant Award.
