Glaxo Wellcome Inc. and the Lung Association are jointly funding a 4-year award program that will support Canadian medical scientists pursuing research projects in respiratory medicine. This year's recipients are Dr. Carla Chrusch, University of Manitoba; Rudolf Veldhuizen, PhD, Lawson Research Institute, St. Joseph's Health Centre, London, Ont.; Angus MacDonald, PhD, University of Alberta; and Karen Waters, PhD, Montreal Children's Hospital.
