Queen's University psychology professor Dr. Barrie Frost has been named the Canadian Institute of Advanced Research's first Max Bell Fellow. Frost, a recipient of both the Queen's University Prize for Excellence in Research and the Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching, is one of Canada's leading researchers in visual neuroscience and is known for his auditory work. The Max Bell Foundation was established in 1972 through a gift from the estate of Canadian philanthropist George Maxwell Bell.
