The Quebec government may establish a self-financing and contributory drug-insurance program. A committee headed by a former health minister has been developing a program by considering which drugs should be covered, as well as financial and management issues. A report and public consultations are expected this spring.

Le gouvernement du Québec pourrait établir un programme d'assurance médicaments autofinancé et à cotisations. Un comité dirigé par un ancien ministre de la Santé a commencé à élaborer un programme en analysant quels médicaments il faudrait couvrir, ainsi que des questions financières et administratives. On attend un rapport et des consultations publiques au printemps.
