cm hiatus news
Issue 21, dated June 20, 1997, brings to a close Volume III of CM. The first issue of Volume 4 will be published on September 5, 1997.
CM has been awarded a Young Canada Works Grant which has permitted CM to hire two students to digitize further reviews of Canadian Materials presently available in paper only.
500 reviews in electronic format will be added to the cmarchives site at http://www.mbnet.mb.ca/cm/cmarchive. The archives, already containing over 300 reviews and features from the journal, was established last summer through a Young Canada Works Grant.
CM will also be hosting a project of the Alliance of Libraries, Archives and Records Management (ALARM) Committee. This site will contain formal and continuing educational opportunities in the Information Resources Sector. This project, field tested during the summer of 1996, will now become an ongoing project of the ALARM Committee. Please visit the site at http://www.mbnet.mb.ca/cm/alarm
