Agricultural
& Food Sciences
The agriculture
degree programs are designed to both provide students with the skills
needed for a professional career in the agriculture and food industry
and the necessary educational background for further studies at the
graduate level. Degree students begin their studies within University
1 prior to entering the Faculty of Agriculture.
The two-year
Agriculture Diploma combines academic study in the agricultural sciences
with practical activities and projects in a wide range of agricultural
subjects. Students learn to use this knowledge to evaluate the technical
and economic feasibility of a variety of alternative agricultural
practices.
