Dentistry

The Doctor of Dental Medicine degree program requires two years of university study in the sciences prior to application. The curriculum consists of basic biomedical, behavioural and clinical sciences, cognitive and behavioural skills, and the professional and ethical values training necessary for practice as a dental professional. Fourth-year students are required to take part in a Community Dentistry Externship, a clinical program centred in community clinics in Winnipeg, and northern Manitoba.
