Education Graduate Student UMGF Application 2010-2011
The Faculty of Graduate Studies offers $2.2M in new and continuing University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) each year to meritorious students for full-time study and/or research (which includes works that are considered creative endeavors) leading to a graduate degree. Awards are made on the basis of academic excellence, and are open to students who will be registered as full-time graduate students (Masters or PhD) at the University of Manitoba regardless of nationality or discipline during tenure of the award.

Ed Expo is one of Manitoba’s largest information fairs for graduating Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) students, and is recognized for opening the doors to endless job opportunities by helping students build connections for the future. Ed Expo takes place Monday, February 1 to Wednesday February 3, 2010 at the University of Manitoba. It is annually organized and hosted by The Faculty of Education, Education Student Council (EdSC).

Dorothy Young, Education PhD Candidate Receives Prestigious Administration and Public Policy Award
Dorothy Young received the 2009/2010 Willard J. Condo Memorial Award for the best paper in any aspect of public policy, public administration or management on October 29th at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
