Recent Meeting Notes:

Arguably secrecy is verily the antithesis of "fraternity, equality and liberty" and perhaps "the greatest corrupters of peace".

WAA/WarAnon, is not a secret society and we neither endorse nor oppose any such society. Nor are we a Military Social Club. In order for meetings to be safe places for the recovering addict, friend or family member, we must remain totally anonymous and maintain completely neutral ground. In order for this to be established we request that all official identities be left at the door. When we qualify ourselves at meeting we do not use "..name, rank and serial number" nor do we disclose what nation, corporation or agency we were or are employed by, or who our friends and family members where or are affiliated with. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions and it is especially with regards to recovery in this program of paramount importance. We need to emphasize that are not what we do or have done.

Like Alcoholics Anonymous we need to relate what works, as we do know what does not and therefor the meetings are not a forum for "War Stories". If you have secrets you need to share, especially those under industrial or governmental security classifications, please do not do so at a meeting.

You may find a sponsors or other trusted person that may be willing to take your fifth step, that may include delicate information, but WAA/WarAnon does not recommend that you do so. We may only suggest that you follow the dictates of the Higher Power of your understanding and that you do so at your own risk and under clear and mutual agreement, so that others may not get hurt.

All meetings are arranged by appointment and complete anonymity is suggested. It is advised that you use a pseudonym and do not give any personal information that will identify you or be used to otherwise locate you. For this purpose you may wish to be associated by a third party activity that is not directly related, such as: or
