Suggested
Tuition Fee Donation |
FREE TUITION?
The approximate cost for an equivalent foundation course at an accredited
university:
$2,200 US
The word "FREE" at the VFU* means "Freedom of Inquiry".
The VFU* does not charge any formal tuition fees. However in a traditional
Socratic method and along the lines of the 7th Tradition of 12 Step programs which states " we are self supporting through
our own contributions,"
we do suggest a sliding scale and negotiable donations be made by students, to support mentors time
and expenses and for the maintenance of our facilities and web-pages.
We do advocate that state and corporate financed education be FREE, with a minimum wage for working students.
We suggest a registration donation of $22 US, for those that can afford it; but anyone who wants to
audit classes, is welcome to do so, at no cost.
We are also based on the principle of mutual aid and we do accept
the interchange of goods and services.
At the
VFU* the education of the student is more important than tuition
fees.

Want accreditation?
The VFU* is
not for everyone.
We are not here
to compete or compare. We strive to deliver programs that will
supplement and enhance the students education, in or out of
the accredited University system.
Although we
do not offer diplomas or degrees, students will receive certificates
and documentation of completed study programs.
We have invited
some of the most creative minds to participate in our projects
for peacemaking and you will be able to interact, peer to peer,
with some of the most intelligent people on the planet.
The feature
film Accepted,
although it is a conventional toxic Hollywood mockery of open
educational systems, gives
a basic idea of how they work,
but your money is not
the only way to be accepted here.
We build the
VFU* together from the ground up, like rebuilding the Library
of Alexandria, on the ecumenical pacifist foundations of well
established and time tested spiritual principles; gathering
from the wisdom teachings of all ages, such as are found in
the traditional Vedanta science of Yoga, or in the
exemplary 12 Steps programs.
I.e.: although
all students are welcome to attend without prerequisites, at
the VFU*, in order to participate as a student / mentor / administrator,
you are required to have at least 90 days clean and sober, be
free of all synthetic substances and anti-nutrients, like Sucrose
and Caffeine and also have the equivalent abstinence from other
process addictions.
In this respect,
the VFU* may have the highest academic leadership standards
in the world
At the VFU*,
if you want accreditation, you look at yourself in the mirror.
