Holliday: I am an Assistant Professor of Anatomy at JCE School of Medicine,
Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia. I received my Ph. D. from Ohio
University. My research focuses on the structural, biomechanical, and
evolutionary patterns of the head in reptiles with emphasis on jaw muscles,
intracranial joints, and bone biology in order to better interpret feeding
function in fossil taxa, such as dinosaurs and crocodyliforms. This research
relies heavily on data collected from extant animals including lizards, birds,
and crocodilians and employs dissection, histology, and 3D imaging techniques.
