Dr Phil Manning is a Senior Lecturer in Palaeontology and heads the Palaeontology Research Group at the University of Manchester (UK) in theSchool of Earth, Atmospheric & Environmental Sciences. He is also a Research Associate of the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences at University Pennsylvania (USA) and also at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (USA).
