Veronica Krapovickas is currently a postdoctoral fellow (CONICET) and a teacher assistant at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She received a degree on Biology at the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Geology at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Her primary field of research is Continental Ichnology and its relationship with Paleoecology and Paleobiology. Her field work is mostly based in Mesozoic and Cenozoic Argentinean outcrops of Patagonia and Northwestern Argentina.
Her current research project consists of studying the role of tetrapod footprints in the development of continental ichnofacies models, as well as in the reconstruction of sedimentary paleoenvironments.
