Kate Braid

Kate Braid was born in Calgary, raised in Montreal and went to school in New Brunswick before moving to British Columbia where she has been ever since. She worked for 15 years as a carpenter before turning to full-time writing, research and teaching. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from University of British Columbia.
