Elizabeth Brewster, a Life member of the League of Canadian Poets, was born in Chipman, New Brunswick, on August 26, 1922. She has lived in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, England, and the U.S.A. She has a B.A. from the University of New Brunswick, a B.L.S. from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from Radcliffe College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Indiana. Since 1972 she has been a member of the Department of English at the University of Saskatchewan, and is now Professor Emeritus.
