Diane Buchanan
- Diane Buchanan is a poet and essayist who currently lives on a farm on the outskirts of Edmonton, Alberta. After raising four daughters, she studied at the University of Alberta and received a B. Sc. N. in 1991, thirty years after she had earned an R.N. She began her writing career after retiring from nursing and adult education. She still enjoys taking workshops locally and has attended the Banff Centre's Writing with Style twice. Her work has been published in numerous literary journals and anthologies. One of her long poems was featured on CBC's Alberta Anthology earlier this year. Her first book, Ask Her Anything, was published by Rowan Books in 2001.
