April Bulmer was born in Toronto on May 4, 1963. She has participated in writing workshops across Canada including the May Studio at the Banff Centre. She holds a B.A. in English and mass communications from York University, an M.A. in creative writing from Concordia University, an M.A. in theology from Trinity College and an M.A. in religious studies from the University of Windsor. She has worked as an administrator at TVOntario and a researcher at Maclean's magazine. April lives in Cambridge, Ontario. Contact her at aprilb@golden.net.
